The Spanish Sauvignon Blanc

Light, aromatic, crisp and completely delicious. It has the classic Verdejo aromas of grass and fennel, which sounds a bit odd but really isn’t.

Why we picked it

Verdejos are growing in popularity and we tried loads (don’t cry for us). This was the best example of what we think Verdejo should be.

How to serve it

Very chilled, straight from the fridge. This can easily be drunk on its own but is amazing with cheese and cold cuts of meat. In fact, think of any starter on a menu and this wine would go with it. Also with salads, this is a definite salad wine.

Verdejo is known as the Spanish Sauvignon Blanc and, in our opinion, is one of the closest grapes to it. If you love your Sauvignon Blancs and fancy a slight change (but not too much) this is your wine.
