 Light, acidic and totally refreshing. This is a perfectly quaffable white from Eastern Italy.

Why we picked it

We did a tasting session of just Verdicchios from the Marche and this is one of our favourites.

How to serve it

Chilled, straight from the fridge. Pair with any fish dish. Although we’re stuck on the thought of this with Dim Sum or dumplings, especially anything with prawns or scallops. Delicious.

Dinner party facts

Verdicchio is native to the Marche and Castelli di Jesi is considered one of the absolute best regions for the grape. Classico means it’s in the historical area for the grape, which has an even better reputation for quality.
